"Bringing the Magic of the Stage to the Digital World"
Project Overview
Page 73 is a dynamic New York City-based playwright incubator, dedicated to launching the careers of emerging and aspiring playwrights. Their mission to bring new voices to the stage needed to be reflected in their digital presence, but their old website, built on an outdated version of Squarespace, limited how they could showcase their work and engage with their audience. They were also concerned that upgrading would bring more challenges than benefits.
Their goal was to create a visually dynamic and engaging website that captured the magic of the stage and effectively displayed the talents of their playwrights.
The Solution
We worked closely with Page 73 to navigate the Squarespace upgrade and deliver a redesigned website that truly represents their unique offerings:
Squarespace 7.1 Upgrade: Managed the seamless transition from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1, ensuring all content and functionality carried over without disruptions.
Redesigned Core Pages: Revamped key pages such as the homepage, playwrights page, and more, to give the site a fresh, modern look.
Brand Integration: Incorporated the organization’s new brand and logo, creatively integrating new shapes and design elements throughout the site.
Visually Engaging Layout: Developed a layout that visually captured the energy and creativity of Page 73’s mission, with dynamic displays for their playwrights and performances.
Results
Seamless Upgrade: The website’s transition to Squarespace 7.1 was smooth, with no disruptions to user experience or content.
Stronger Brand Identity: The integration of new branding and design elements strengthened their visual presence and aligned the website with their evolving identity.
Improved Showcasing of Talent: The redesigned site allowed for a more dynamic, user-friendly experience that effectively highlights their playwrights and upcoming productions.
